1. Acceptance of Terms. By accessing or using DealHound ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service. DealHound is an AI-powered outreach platform for self-storage investors. The Service helps users discover facilities, generate email campaigns, and manage deal pipelines.
3. User Accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
4. Acceptable Use. You agree not to use the Service to: send spam or unsolicited bulk email; harass, threaten, or intimidate any person; violate any applicable laws or regulations, including CAN-SPAM; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data; or use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
5. Email Sending. You are solely responsible for the content of emails sent through the Service. All emails must comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and include a functioning unsubscribe mechanism, which DealHound provides automatically.
6. Data and Privacy. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy below. We take the security of your data seriously and use encryption for sensitive information like email credentials.
7. Subscription and Payment. Paid features require an active subscription. Billing is handled through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the account settings page.
8. Limitation of Liability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. DealHound shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Modifications. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect. Account information (email address, hashed password); email credentials (encrypted with AES-256-GCM); market data (markets searched, facilities discovered); campaign data (emails generated and sent); usage data (how you interact with the Service).
2. How We Use Your Information. To provide and operate the Service; to send emails on your behalf; to detect replies and bounces; to process payments through Stripe; to improve and develop new features.
3. Data Security. Email passwords are encrypted using AES-256-GCM. All data is stored with Row Level Security policies ensuring users can only access their own data. API keys and secrets are never exposed to client-side code. All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption.
4. Third-Party Services. Supabase (database and authentication); Stripe (payment processing); Smartlead (email delivery); Google Places API (facility discovery); Anthropic Claude (AI email generation); Vercel (hosting).
5. Data Retention. Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
6. Your Rights. You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to disconnect your email account at any time.
7. Cookies. We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
