We collect the following information when you use DealHound:

• Account information: Email address, mobile phone number, and password (hashed)
• Email credentials: Your email app password, encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage
• Market data: Markets you search and facilities you discover
• Campaign data: Emails generated and sent through the Service
• Usage data: How you interact with the Service to improve the product

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Service
• To send emails on your behalf through your connected email account
• To detect replies and bounces to your outreach campaigns
• To process payments through Stripe
• To improve and develop new features

3. Data Security

We take data security seriously:

• Email passwords are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage
• All data is stored in Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) policies so that one customer cannot access another customer's data
• Authorized DealHound personnel can view your account for support purposes, as described in Section 8
• API keys and secrets are never exposed to client-side code
• All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate DealHound:

• Supabase: Database and authentication
• Stripe: Payment processing
• Smartlead: Email delivery and warmup
• Google Places API: Facility discovery
• Anthropic Claude: AI-powered email generation and reply classification
• Vercel: Application hosting

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data (campaign results, contacts)
• Disconnect your email account at any time

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Staff Access to Your Account

Authorized DealHound personnel may view your account to provide support, investigate problems, and maintain the Service. This includes your markets, campaigns, contacts, email content, billing information, and the replies you receive from third parties through the Service. This access is read-only and does not permit us to send email, launch campaigns, or change your data. Every access is logged with the staff member's identity, the account viewed, and the time.

9. Your Phone Number

We collect a mobile phone number when you create an account. We use it only to contact you about your own account: service notifications, security alerts, and support. We do not use your phone number for marketing or promotional messages, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not sell or rent it. Your number is stored with the same protections as the rest of your account data and is never shown to the facilities or contacts you reach out to through the Service. You can ask us to update or remove it at any time by contacting support@deal-hound.io.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
